Giraffes, a walled garden and woodland trails: a whole day out in the heart of the countryside.
Open the brochure →Welcome
Welcome to Meadowlark. Our family opened the gates in 1998 with six goats, a tea room and a lot of hope.
Today you will find giraffes grazing by the lake, a walled garden in flower from spring to autumn, and miles of woodland paths to explore.
Whether it is your first visit or your fiftieth, we cannot wait to show you around.

Things to do
Meet the herd eye to eye from the raised feeding deck, daily at 11am and 2pm.
Two acres of roses, long borders and a Victorian glasshouse.
A 2-mile waymarked loop under old oaks, with a fairy-door hunt for little ones.
Watch herons, grebes and kingfishers from a quiet hide on the water.
Towers, rope bridges and sand, plus an indoor barn for rainy days.
Hear how the team cares for every animal, three times a day.
