Looking for somewhere to feed a DICK??
Social media is the strangest thing?
I was trying to help people find a lovely place to visit and feed ducks.
I accidentally put “Looking for somewhere to feed a DICK!”
The Unmumsy Mum commented and shared my unfortunate post and left me looking like a bit of a DUCK.
a HILARIOUS mistake has at least given you all something to laugh about. A bit of a cock up, you might say?
Thank you to Danielle Mckay, for suggesting this FREE day out to Days Out Now. She is one of our facebook members and we really do appreciate all of your suggestions.
It costs to park but after that you can enjoy a 4.7 mile walk, run or bike ride.
Lots of wildlife on the water, bird watching, little off course tracks to explore.
No dogs are allowed around the reservoir to protect the birds.
There’s often water sports (sailing and fishing) during the summer to watch as you walk or pay to learn. There’s a huge play area where you can take picnics, BBQ’s, ball games, etc.
A cafe and shop and often an ice cream kiosk open in the summer. The shop sells duck food and the ducks come right up to you.
In the warmer months they do different events.
We have a parking pass as we love it there especially with our autistic daughter. It’s wheel chair friendly few hills though but all paved. And they have disability swings in the play area.
