🗺️ Route Overview

Start: Agerola (Bomerano)

Begin in the mountain village of Bomerano, where the trail starts at Piazza Paolo Capasso. This is the highest point of the walk, meaning the route is mostly downhill with panoramic views from the very beginning.

Follow the Sentiero degli Dei

The trail winds along the cliffs, passing terraced vineyards, rocky ledges, and viewpoints that open up to the full sweep of the Amalfi Coast. The path is well-marked and easy to follow, with occasional stone steps and narrow sections.

Arrive in Nocelle

This tiny village sits high above Positano and makes a perfect rest stop. From here, you can:

  • Continue down the famous 1,500 steps into Positano
  • Take a local bus to Positano
  • Take a bus to Amalfi if you’re staying there

Finish: Positano

If you choose to descend the steps, you’ll arrive directly into the upper streets of Positano, with its pastel houses, boutique shops, and beach at Marina Grande.
