Holy IslandYour next adventure starts here.
Holy Island, also known as Lindisfarne, is a small tidal island off the north Northumberland coast, reached by a causeway that floods twice a day. The ruins of Lindisfarne Priory and Lindisfarne Castle on its rocky crag are its famous landmarks, and the surrounding dunes and mudflats form a national nature reserve. This page helps with days out on and around Holy Island, including walks, road trips and places to stay nearby.
