Petworth’s outdoor ghost hunt offers book-inspired games for preschoolers and young children, including hoopla and broomstick racing before collecting a sticker. The organiser describes the trail as buggy-friendly, and it runs in wet weather too, so bring appropriate clothing. There is no separate trail charge, but normal admission to the property applies.

About this event
Book a gentle ghost-hunt storytelling session at Petworth for children up to eight. Stories and music take place in the Battery House studio, which has step-free access. Reserve a place for each child; adults must supervise throughout but do not need a separate session reservation. The activity is included with normal admission, and spaces are limited.
