Plan your visit →Swallow Falls
Cascades on the Afon Llugwy just west of Betws-y-Coed. The viewing platforms reached from the A5 are a paid attraction; the longer forest walk is a different outing. When to visit: Check current entrance arrangements before travelling. Access: Use designated viewpoints. The longer Swallow Falls forest walk is strenuous, so do not confuse it with the short viewpoint visit. Parking: Use a lawful marked parking space and check local charges. Bus services also run along the A5; check the current timetable.
Plan your visit →Conwy Falls
Twin falls in a wooded gorge south of Betws-y-Coed. The paid forest-park walk starts by the café; café access and free parking do not make waterfall entry free. When to visit: Check current turnstile admission and café opening before travelling. Access: The paths and viewpoints are deliberately natural and can be uneven. Wear grippy footwear and stay on the designated routes. Parking: Parking at the café is free. Waterfall admission is separate.
