Privacy notice
This notice explains the extra processing connected with the paid Travel Now Travel Club.
Information collected
Days Out Now collects the member’s name, email address, selected departure airports, school-holiday preference and any other checkout preference shown on Fluent Form 6. Stripe supplies payment status, customer and subscription references. Days Out Now does not store full card details.
Why it is used
Member details are used to take payment, provide the paid Friday emails, manage renewal or cancellation, send essential service messages, prevent duplicate memberships, keep financial records and understand which kinds of travel opportunities are useful. The principal legal bases are performance of the membership contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests in operating and improving the service.
Service emails and marketing
Welcome, payment, renewal, cancellation and paid-edition emails are part of the membership service. The paid-service checkbox is not permission for unrelated general marketing. Any separate optional marketing choice is handled independently.
Who processes the information
Stripe processes payments. WordPress, Fluent Forms and The Newsletter Plugin are used to operate the website, membership record and private paid mailing list. Hosting, email-delivery and technical suppliers may process the minimum information needed to provide their services. Travel providers receive information only when a visitor chooses to visit or book on their own site.
How long it is kept
Active membership records are kept while the membership runs. Payment and accounting records may be kept for the period required by tax and legal rules. Preference and support records are removed or anonymised when no longer reasonably needed.
Your choices and rights
Members can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection where the relevant data-protection right applies. A request can be sent to daysoutnow@gmail.com. Cancelling marketing is separate from cancelling the paid membership and its service emails.
