À 3 km seulement du centre de Montpellier, le parc Méric est un enchantement ! Splendide bâtisse du XIXe, terrasses surplombant le Lez, champs de coquelicots… Ici le temps suspend son vol. Le peintre Bazille a vécu ici et y a trouvé l'inspiration pour plusieurs de ses œuvres. Le parc permet une véritable escapade champêtre, des pique-niques en famille sous les arbres, une balade au bord du Lez pour admirer les retenues d'eau et les vestiges d'anciens moulins à eau, ou une pause au calme sur un banc. Vous y trouverez aussi un espace canin, une aire de jeux pour enfants, et une végétation intéressante (bois méditerranéen, arbres centenaires, jardin à l'anglaise…) La maison de maître est fermée au public. Des visites guidées du domaine de Méric sont organisées par l’office de Tourisme et des Congrès de Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole. Sur réservation.
